The state of Lower Saxony can provide so-called "special funds" from state funds to higher education institutions upon application for the purpose of research. Applications for special funds include in particular
- Direct applications to the state ministries (calls for proposals by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture)
- Applications to the Volkswagen Foundation in the "Niedersachsen Vorab" programme
The administration of special funds at TU Clausthal is the responsibility of Department 12 (Budget) of Department 1 and not the administration of third-party funds (Department 14). If necessary, please contact the responsible person.
To clarify whether a Lower Saxony call for proposals must be classified as special or third-party funding, and for further support in preparing your application (e.g. personnel cost rates, application conditions, etc.), please contact the Funding Advisory Service at TU Clausthal.
