Horizon 2020

"Horizon 2020" is the outgoing European Framework Program for Research and Innovation, which runs for seven years (2014–2020). Horizon 2020 will contribute to the implementation of the Innovation Union, one of the seven flagship initiatives of the Europe 2020 strategy, and thus help turn ideas into economic value more quickly. Horizon 2020 has a total budget of 70.2 billion EUR.

The final calls for proposals under Horizon 2020 closed in January 2021. Information on calls for proposals under the successor program can be found on the Horizon Europe website.
