State ministries

For researchers at Clausthal University of Technology, we conduct targeted grant searches and provide personalized advice and support in applying for state-funded research projects. Please feel free to contact us.

Upon request, the state of Lower Saxony can provide higher education institutions with so-called “special funds” from state resources for research purposes. Applications for special funds include, in particular,

• Direct applications to state ministries (calls for proposals from the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture)
• Applications to the Volkswagen Foundation under the “zukunft.niedersachsen” program (formerly “Niedersächsisches Vorab” or “SPRUNG”)

At Clausthal University of Technology, Department 12 (Budget) of Division 1 is responsible for the administration of special funds, not the Third-Party Funding Administration (Department 14). Please coordinate with the relevant staff members as needed.
